A burst of photographs becomes a study of motion through Laguna Seca’s Corkscrew. The project explores stabilized animation and composite trails that hold multiple moments in one frame.
Following the car
The source photographs follow a Ferrari through the corner. Aligning the sequence makes it possible to explore the movement frame by frame and to keep earlier car positions visible as the next moment arrives.
Time in a single image
This composite places successive car positions into the landscape, tracing the changing line, scale, and direction through the downhill turn.
